How To Make Copycat Texas Roadhouse Salmon Recipe

Arrange lime slices on parchment, season salmon, place atop.

Step One: Start by placing parchment paper into your air fryer, spray the parchment paper with cooking spray.

Step Two: Add your lime slices on top of the parchment paper. Season your salmon with salt and black pepper, and place your salmon on top of the limes.

Mix sauce ingredients, brush over salmon, air fry perfectly.

Step Three: Add the butter, sweet chili sauce, brown sugar, lime juice, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes in a small mixing bowl. Using a pastry brush, brush the sauce over the salmon. Set the salmon in the air fryer, set the air fryer temperature to 400 degrees F, and set the cook time for 8-10 minutes. The thickness of the salmon will determine the exact cooking time. For best results, brush your salmon frequently during the cooking process. Remove the salmon when a fork easily flakes it.

Texas Roadhouse Salmon Recipe Tips

  • Choose Fresh Salmon: Fresh, high-quality salmon fillets will give the best flavor and texture. Look for salmon with vibrant color and firm flesh.
  • Customize the Sauce: Feel free to adjust the sweetness or spice level of the glaze by adding more brown sugar or red pepper flakes, depending on your preference.
  • Use Parchment Paper: Lining your air fryer with parchment paper helps to keep the salmon moist and prevents sticking. It also makes cleanup easier.
  • Brush Frequently: For a glaze that really sticks, brush the salmon with the sauce several times during the cooking process to ensure even coverage and flavor.
  • Check Doneness with a Fork: To test if the salmon is cooked through, gently press a fork into the thickest part of the fillet. It should flake easily and be opaque inside.
  • Serve Immediately: For the best taste and texture, serve the salmon right away while it’s hot and juicy.

Storing

  • Storing: To store leftover Copycat Texas Roadhouse Salmon, place it in an airtight container in the refrigerator. It will stay fresh for up to 2 days.
  • Freezing: You can freeze cooked salmon for up to 3 months. Wrap the salmon tightly in plastic wrap or foil, then place it in a freezer-safe bag. Be sure to remove excess air to avoid freezer burn.
  • Reheating: To reheat, place the salmon in the air fryer at 350°F for about 4-5 minutes to warm it up while keeping it moist. Alternatively, gently heat in the microwave for 1-2 minutes or on the stovetop over low heat with a bit of butter.
