Air Fryer Mozzarella Pizza Bread Recipe Tips

  • Cutting: Use a sharp knife to cut this bread. I recommend using a serrated knife. This way, the blade cuts perfectly through the bread.
  • Cheese: For best results, use freshly grated cheese. Otherwise, you will find that pre-shredded will not melt as well as newly shredded cheese. Since it contains a coating, cellulose helps shred the cheese in the plastic bag.
  • Vegan: To make this dish vegan, you can easily switch out the butter and cheese for vegan options. My favorites are Daiya, Vegan Foods, GoVeggie!, and Follow Your Heart.
  • Bread Size: Depending on your air fryer, you may be able to do several Artisan Rolls or one large loaf. Make sure to leave space around the basket to allow the air to flow, which will cook up your bread perfectly freely!

Storing

  • Storing: Allow the pizza bread to cool completely, then wrap it tightly in plastic wrap or store in an airtight container. Keep it in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Freezing: To freeze, wrap the cooled bread tightly in aluminum foil or place it in a freezer-safe bag. Store it in the freezer for up to 2 months. Thaw overnight in the refrigerator before reheating.
  • Reheating: Reheat the bread in the air fryer at 300°F for 5-8 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the bread is warmed through. You can also reheat it in the oven or microwave, but the air fryer maintains the crispy texture best.

What To Serve With Air Fryer Mozzarella Pizza Bread

Air Fryer Mozzarella Pizza Bread pairs wonderfully with a variety of sides to complete your meal or snack. Serve it with a fresh, crisp salad, such as a classic Caesar or a vibrant mixed green salad with Italian dressing, to balance the richness of the cheesy bread. For an extra touch of flavor, offer a side of marinara or garlic dipping sauce for dunking. You can also complement it with roasted vegetables, like air fryer zucchini or bell peppers, to add a healthy twist. For a more indulgent option, pair it with pasta or a bowl of creamy tomato soup for a comforting, pizza-inspired dinner.
