This is one of my kid’s favorite sandwiches, and I originally made it because I had all of the ingredients on hand, and so simple enough, I thought. My son had a brilliant idea to air fry the sandwich, and life was never the same again in our house. Today I am giving you my son’s favorite Air Fryer Peanut Butter Banana Sandwich.

Start by spreading the peanut butter on one side of each piece of bread.

Air Fryer Peanut Butter Banana Sandwich — This is such a classic childhood sandwich, one that my kids really love. And you probably already have the ingredients on hand. I love it with a piping hot dish of tomato soup!

Ingredients 

  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter, creamy or chunky
  • 4 slices bread, any type
  • 1 large banana, sliced

Instructions

  • Start by spreading the peanut butter to one side of each bread.
  • Then place the bananas on top of the peanut butter.
  • Use the other bread, and place it over the bananas.
  • Place the bread in the air fryer basket, set the temperature for 300 degrees F, air fryer setting, and air fry for 5 minutes.
