How To Make Air Fryer Pita Chips
Start by cutting your pita bread, with a pizza cutter, any shape will do. I cut mine into wedges, for easy dipping.
Mix the pita bread with olive oil, salt, oregano, and any other spices, you want. Place them on the tray or in the air fryer basket.
Set the temperature to 350 degrees F, air fryer setting, for 3 minutes. Check and see if they are crispy after 3 minutes, otherwise add a minute or two.
While, I used a very simple recipe today, with only a few ingredients, there are so many variations that you can make:
Oil: I used traditional olive oil, however if you are following a Weight Watcher Program, you can use olive oil spray.
You can also use any high heat oil, including coconut oil, sunflower oil or avocado oil. They will all work.
Seasonings: You can easily use any seasoning that you want, I used some sea salt and black pepper. But you can also add Ranch, Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Cayenne Pepper or Cayenne.
