Air Fryer TGIF Friday's Green Bean Fries

Air Fryer TGIF Friday’s Green Bean Fries was one of the most popular appetizers ordered in TGIFs, they discontinued them a few years back, but you can surprise your family and whip with your air fryer up a batch.

These are the perfect snack and tailgating snack. I made a batch this weekend while my family was watching some football.

If you love a great fried green bean coated with bread crumbs and garlic, this is the perfect snack for you. I love a great crispy treat, so much better than serving regular old potato chips, and with your air fryer, you can serve these up in an instant.

I served these with the Copycat TGIF Creamy Cucumber-Wasabi Ranch Dip, and my kids loved them. But truthfully, I think my kids love anything that they can dip.

FAQ’s:

Can I Make These In The Oven?

Yes, prepare them, and then instead of putting them into the air fryer, place them into a preheated 425 degrees F for 12-15 minutes.

Making them in the oven is an excellent idea if you make a massive batch of them for a party or get-together.

Can I Use Frozen Green Beans?

Unfortunately, frozen green beans will not work because they will be too wet when they thaw. I recommend that you purchase fresh green beans for this recipe, available year-round at most grocery stores.

Another option would be to use canned green beans, but you would need to drain them well and dry them on a paper towel before breading them.

What To Serve These With?

Here are some of my favorites,

Any sauce you like will be a great dipping sauce, even if you want to add some garlic and melted butter in a small saucepan. Perfect.
