How to Make Air Fryer Ribeye Steak

Step One: Remove the ribeye steak from the fridge and allow it to come to room temperature. This ensures more even cooking and a juicier steak.
Step Two: Pat the steak dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture. Season generously with salt and pepper.
Step Three: Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent the steak from sticking. Rub both sides of the steak with olive oil, then apply your seasoning to all sides of the steak for full flavor.

Step Four: Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F (200°C) for 3-5 minutes. This step helps sear the steak when it hits the hot air fryer basket.
Step Five: Place the steak in the preheated air fryer basket and cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through. Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness: 135°F for medium-rare, 145°F for medium, and 160°F for well-done.
Step Six: After cooking, remove the steak and let it rest for 3-5 minutes before serving to retain its juiciness. Slice and enjoy your perfectly cooked air fryer ribeye steak!

Air Fryer Ribeye Steak Recipe Tips
- Room Temperature Steaks: Let the steak reach room temperature before cooking to ensure even cooking and extra juiciness.
- Pat Dry: Be sure to pat your steak dry with paper towels before seasoning. This helps create a nice sear and prevents the steak from steaming in the air fryer.
- Choose the Right Cut: This ribeye steak in air fryer recipe works best with well-marbled steaks that are at least 1 inch thick. The marbling melts as it cooks, ensuring a juicy, flavorful steak every time.
- Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheating is key to achieving a great sear. When making this ribeye steak air fryer recipe, this step ensures the steak cooks evenly and develops a flavorful crust.
- Flip Halfway: Flip your steak halfway through to ensure even cooking and a beautiful crust on both sides.
- Use a Meat Thermometer: It’s the best way to ensure your steak is cooked exactly how you like it.
- Let the Steak Rest: Don’t skip the resting step! Letting your air fryer ribeye steak rest for 3-5 minutes after cooking helps retain its juices for maximum tenderness and flavor.
- Experiment with Seasonings: While salt and pepper are always great, try adding garlic powder, paprika, or steak seasoning for extra flavor.
Storing & Reheating
- Storing Air Fryer Ribeye Steak: Allow the cooked ribeye steak to cool to room temperature before storing. Place it in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 3-4 days.
- Reheating Ribeye Steak In Air Fryer: To reheat, preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C) and cook the steak for 3-5 minutes until heated through. This will help retain its crispy exterior and juicy interior.
