Ingredients Needed For Air Fryer Cheesy Dip
- Cream Cheese
- Mayonnaise
- Sour Cream
- Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
- Gruyere Cheese
- Bacon
- Green Onions
How To Make Air Fryer Cheesy Dip
Layout the cream cheese so it can soften to room temperature. Cook the bacon in the air fryer for 8 to 12 minutes at 400 degrees F. Allow the bacon to cool, and chop it into small pieces. Wash and dry the green onions and thinly slice at an angle.
In a medium-sized bowl, add in the cream cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, mozzarella cheese, gruyere cheese, bacon (reserve some for topping the dip), and combine thoroughly with a spoon.
Then pour into a baking dish, cover with foil, air fry at 320 degrees F, air fryer setting, and cook for 8 to 10 minutes. Remove from the air fryer, top with additional bacon and the green onions and serve warm!
Pro Tips:
- Customize this dip to suit your tastes. If you’d like it extra smokey, stir in ½ teaspoon of smoked paprika into the cheese mixture before air frying for a fantastic flavor.
- This is the perfect recipe for when you want something spicy. Try adding two tablespoons of chopped pickled jalapeños or hot sauce!
- This dip is so easy to make ahead! Refrigerate topped with the sauce, then air fry at 320°F until golden and bubbly.
Can I Use Other Cheese Flavors?
With the variety of cheeses I use, my cheese tip has all it takes to be delicious.
While today, I used both shredded mozzarella cheese and gruyere, you can use any of your favorite cheese.
Some great options to use are smoked cheddar, Monterey Jack cheese, or even Colby Jack cheese.
Can I Prep This In Advance?
Yes, this is a great dip that you can easily prepare in advance. Prepare as directed, cover tightly with saran wrap, and then place into the refrigerator.
It will last for about 1 to 2 days before becoming watery.
What Can I Serve WIth Air Fryer Cheesy Dip?
This Air Fryer Cheesy Dip will be the perfect snack to enjoy with your favorite people. Try serving it at parties or during football games for an appetizer that everyone can’t help but love!
Some great things to serve it are Celery Sticks, Carrot Sticks, Air Fryer Pita Chips, Tortilla chips, Crostini, or Bell pepper strips.
How Long Will It Keep In the Refrigerator?
I love making this in advance, but let it cool to room temperature and then cover it tightly with saran wrap if you have any leftover. Please place it in the refrigerator; it will last for about 2 to 3 days.
You can reheat it in either the microwave or the air fry, heating until warmed through.
How To Freeze
I found that this does not freeze well. As it defrosts, the dip gets watery. For best results, make this fresh when you want to serve it.
