- Black Pepper
How To Make Air Fryer Chinese Salt and Pepper Chicken Wings
Start by cracking the egg white in a large mixing bowl, beat until frothy, add in the salt and pepper.
Add the chicken wing pieces into the bowl, and allow them to sit for about 15 minutes.
Set them in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Set the temperature to 380 degrees for 12 minutes. After 12 minutes, using tongs, flip the chicken wings. Then increase the temperature to 400 degrees F for another 5 minutes.
How do you cook chicken wings in the air fryer?
The key to making wings in the air fryer is to make sure they are not stacked and evenly spaced apart. Leaving space is hard for most people since we are all trying to get as much food as we can in the air fryer basket.
But if you want them perfectly cooked, you have to space them accordingly. This means leaving space for the hot air to circulate around your food.
Why air fry wings?
The real reasons are they are faster, and they are better. They are also made with less oil than deep-frying, which means you can enjoy more wings!
They will come out crispy and delicious without any added oil.
How To Store Leftover Wings:
If you have any leftover wings, let them cool to room temperature, and then place them into an airtight container. The container should be placed into the refrigerator for about 1 to 2 days.
If you have any after that, I would recommend disposing of them.
How To Reheat Leftover Wings:
If you have any leftovers and wish to reheat them, place them into the air fryer basket and set the temperature to 350 degrees F, air fryer setting for 5-7 minutes, or until warmed through.
You can brush them with melted butter to bring back some moisture or spray them with cooking spray.
What Air Fryer Will This Recipe Work With?
This recipe will work in any air fryer whether you are using the Instant Pot Vortex Plus, the Ninja Foodi, Instant Pot Crisp Lid, Mealthy, or GoWise. Any other air fryer basket or oven will work! This recipe is very interchangeable!
