Filling greased muffin cups with banana nut muffin batter

Step 2: Lightly grease silicone muffin cups or ramekins with cooking spray to prevent sticking. Spoon the batter into the prepared cups, filling each about two-thirds full.

Step 3: Preheat the air fryer to 320°F. Place the filled muffin cups inside and cook for 10–12 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Carefully remove the muffins from the air fryer and let them cool slightly before serving.

Air Fryer Martha White Banana Nut Muffins Recipe Tips

  • Use ripe bananas: The riper the bananas, the sweeter and more flavorful the muffins.
  • Don’t overmix the batter: Stir just until combined to keep muffins soft and tender.
  • Grease muffin cups well: Use silicone cups or spray to prevent sticking.
  • Check doneness early: Air fryer models vary; insert a toothpick to ensure muffins are fully cooked.
  • Add mix-ins for variety: Fold in extra nuts, chocolate chips, or dried fruit for extra flavor.
  • Cool slightly before serving: Helps muffins firm up and prevents crumbling.

Storing Instructions

  • Room Temperature: Store cooled muffins in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
  • Refrigerator: Keep muffins in a sealed container for up to 4 days.
  • Freezer: Wrap individually in plastic wrap or foil and freeze for up to 2 months. Thaw at room temperature before serving.
  • Reheating: Warm muffins in the air fryer at 300°F for 2–3 minutes or in the microwave for 15–20 seconds.
