Ingredients Needed

- Refrigerated Pizza Dough: Provides a convenient and easy-to-use base for the cinnamon rolls, saving time and effort.
- Butter: Adds richness and moisture to the cinnamon rolls, ensuring a soft and flavorful bite.
- Ground Cinnamon: Infuses the rolls with a warm, spicy flavor that pairs perfectly with the apples.
- Brown Sugar: Sweetens the filling while adding a hint of caramel-like depth and moisture.
- Apples: Adds a fresh, fruity flavor and natural sweetness to the cinnamon rolls.
- Salted Caramel Sauce: Drizzled over the apple cinnamon rolls, it adds a rich, buttery sweetness with a touch of salt.
How To Make Air Fryer Apple Cinnamon Rolls

Step One: In a bowl, combine the butter, cinnamon, and brown sugar. Set aside.

Step Two: In a separate bowl, toss the apples with the caramel sauce. Set aside. With the help of a rolling pin, roll the dough until you have a 12 x 8-inch rectangle.

Step Three: Spread the butter over the dough rectangle. Top with the apples and roll into a log. With the help of a sharp knife, cut out six rolls. Line the air fryer with parchment paper and, working in batches, set air fryer temperature to 300 degrees F, air fryer setting, and set the cook time for 10 minutes.
Step Four: Bring the heat up to 350 degrees F, air fryer setting, and set cook time for 10-12 more minutes or until golden brown and done.

Air Fryer Apple Cinnamon Rolls Recipe Tips
- Use cold cinnamon roll dough for cleaner slices and neater layers when rolling.
- Dice the apples small so they soften fully and don’t poke through the dough.
- Line the air fryer basket with parchment that has holes to prevent sticking and keep airflow steady.
- Don’t overcrowd the basket; cinnamon rolls need space to puff or they’ll bake unevenly.
- Check early since air fryers vary and overbaking dries them out fast.
Storing Instructions
Store leftover apple cinnamon rolls in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days or refrigerate for up to 4 days. Reheat in the air fryer at 320°F for 2–3 minutes to bring back that warm, gooey center without turning them into hockey pucks.

Easy Air Fryer Apple Cinnamon Rolls Recipe Faqs
Can I use canned cinnamon roll dough? Yes, canned cinnamon roll dough works perfectly and keeps this recipe fast and low effort. It also bakes evenly in the air fryer without drying out.
What kind of apples work best? Granny Smith and Honeycrisp are solid picks since they hold their shape and balance the sweetness. Softer apples can turn mushy, which nobody wants in a cinnamon roll.
Do I need to peel the apples? Peeling is optional, but recommended for a softer bite and smoother texture. Apple skins can get a little chewy after cooking.
Can I make these ahead of time? You can prep and assemble them a few hours in advance, then air fry right before serving. They’re best fresh while warm and gooey.
How do I keep the rolls from burning on the bottom? Use parchment paper or a silicone liner in the basket. It helps with even cooking and makes cleanup painless.
Can I add icing or caramel sauce? Absolutely. Drizzle icing or warm caramel over the rolls after cooking for bakery-style vibes without the bakery price.
Why are my cinnamon rolls undercooked in the middle? Air fryers vary, and thicker rolls may need extra time. Add 1-2 minutes and check again before pulling them out.
