I remember having these as a child in Girl Scouts, they were just as yummy, then as I remembered. My kids were in heaven, they just love my special treats I have been making this summer.
These are a perfect snack, they start with a portable container, so this is amazing party food since you don’t have to dirty dishes, the banana peel is one, already built-in. Then you can fill it with anything. Today we made a classic s’ more, my kids are anxious to mix it up, so we will be doing a few this week since we have ripe bananas on my counter.
S’mores are perfect for the summer, but they are good all year round, since you have the use of the air fryer, and you don’t have to go outside and use the grill. So, they would be a great snack mid-winter, for movie night.
Classic s’ mores are made from chocolate, marshmallows and graham crackers. You probably have a great memory of sitting around a campfire, as a child and creating a s’more sandwich, that was held between two graham crackers. The images of melted chocolate and marshmallows come to mind.
I hope you have been following along because I am just getting started. If you haven’t been paying attention, here are some of our favorites thus far.
Items Used in This Recipe–
Don’t Forget to Pin—
- 1 large banana
- 1 mini candy bar chopped
- 1/4 cup mini marshmallows
- 2 tablespoons crushed graham crackers
Cut the banana lengthwise, with a sharp knife. Then use your hands and open the banana, so you can stuff it.
Sprinkle the graham crackers into the banana, then add your chopped chocolate.
Stuff the banana with mini marshmallows.
Place in the air fryer basket and set the temperature to 400 degrees for 5 minutes, just enough so that the banana blackens, and the inside ingredients start melting.
Plate, serve and enjoy!
