How To Make Air Fryer Bacon Wrapped Pineapple
Step 1: Start by cutting your bacon strips in half so it fits in the air fryer basket. Set the temperature to 390 degrees F, air fryer setting, and cook for 5 minutes.
Step 2: While the bacon is cooking, mix the ketchup, honey, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, ginger, and Sriracha sauce in a small bowl. Transfer to a small saucepan and simmer until thickened (about 8 to 10 minutes).
Step 3: Then, wrap a strip of bacon around each pineapple chunk and use a toothpick to secure them together. Brush with your sauce and air fry for another 3 to 5 minutes, until the bacon is crispy!
Air Fryer Bacon Wrapped Pineapples Recipe Tips
- Flexible recipe. You can use either fresh or canned pineapples.
- Cut your bacon so that it fits flat in the air fryer.
- Prep these ahead of time, then reheat them right before your guests arrive.
- Skip preheating. You do not need to preheat your air fryer for this recipe.
- Don’t add too much to your basket. For best results, do not crowd your air fryer basket. Otherwise, your bacon wrapped pineapple bites won’t crisp up correctly!
- Serve hot or cold. This recipe is delicious either way, so serve it however is convenient for you!
- Adjust time. If you use a thicker cut of bacon, you may need to adjust the cooking time.
- Soak your toothpicks. To ensure your toothpicks don’t burn in the air fryer, I suggest soaking them in water for 10-15 minutes before using.
