After I did my last post on using fresh pineapple for the recipe, a reader asked me to try it with canned pineapple. So, I put it on my list of recipes to work on, and last night, I came up with this, it worked beautifully, and it would be a great addition to your Easter table, where one common food served at Easter is ham, and what is better with ham than grilled pineapple.

Here are the steps that I used, to prepare it in my air fryer, so you can prepare it in yours,
After the 5 minutes is up, brush the marinade over the pineapple. Return to the air fryer and set the temperature at 400 degrees F (air fryer setting) for 3 minutes.

Ingredients
- 15 ounces canned pineapple
- 1/4 cup rum
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon ground ginger
- 1 tablespoon ground nutmeg
- 1 tablespoon ground cloves
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, mix together the rum, pineapple, brown sugar, ground cinnamon, ground ginger, ground nutmeg, and ground cloves. Cover and refrigerate for about an hour.
- Place the pineapple rings onto the air fryer tray or in the air fryer basket. Set them in at 350 degrees F, for 5 minutes. (air fryer setting)
- After the 5 minutes is up, brush the marinade over the pineapple. Return to the air fryer and set the temperature at 400 degrees F (air fryer setting) for 3 minutes.
- Plate, serve, and enjoy!
