What Do Air-Fried Peaches Taste Like?

Have you ever had a piece of peach pie where the gooey pie filling had plenty of spices? Fried peaches remind me of that. It is a rich, sweet, and delicious dessert — so easy to make!

Do Grilled Peaches Need to Be Ripe?

For best results, you want a firm, soft peach. Otherwise, your air-fried peaches will be mushy. If you use an extra ripe peach, you will notice that it will tend to smoke more since it releases more sugar. So, look for a peach on the cusp of being ripe but not already ripe when you air fry peaches. White peaches are perfect for this recipe!

What kind of peaches are best for Air Frying?

When you make fried peaches, I suggest choosing a firm yellow variety. For the best peaches, I recommend using fresh peaches, although you can use canned peaches. Ripe peaches will be too tender to cook, and the natural sugars will burn more easily.

What is a Serving Size?

Plan for one-half a peach per person. It is a fruit — so I won’t judge if you indulge in more than that!

How Do I Store Leftovers?

If you have leftover fried peaches, you can store them in an airtight container and reheat them. Consume within 3 days. However, it would help not to freeze leftovers after cooking peaches in the air fryer. Once thawed and reheated, they will become mushy and mealy.

Are They Grilled? Are They Fried?

This recipe for air-fried peaches is an easy way to recreate the flavor of grilled peaches without firing up the grill. The results are delicious! The sweet peach flavor intensifies when heated and is perfectly balanced by the rich cinnamon.

Can I Substitute the Peaches?

Yes! You can follow this recipe for peaches in the air fryer using any variety of stone fruit. Try nectarines, plums, or apricots—even apples!

What to Serve with Grilled Peaches?

My favorite toppings include vanilla ice cream, a drizzle of honey, maple syrup, melted butter, caramel, graham cracker crumbs, pecans, or fresh mint leaves.
