Pickles: Use either pickle spears or slices. Either will work for this recipe.
Bacon: I used simple center-cut bacon. Any bacon will work.
How To Make Air Fryer Bacon-Wrapped Pickles
Start by placing the pickles on a paper towel and removing some of the juice. Then take your slice of bacon, and wrap it around the pickle.
Set the pickle into the air fryer basket, and set the temperature to 380 degrees F, air fryer setting and cook for 8 to 12 minutes. Or until the bacon is fully cooked to your liking.
Tips For Air Frying Bacon-Wrapped Pickles
Let the pickles drain a bit on a paper towel before wrapping them in the bacon.
If you find that your air fryer smokes with bacon, add a piece of bread between the basket and the liner (see picture), but always check with your manufacturer to see recommendations.
If you need to use toothpicks, make sure they are soaked in water for about 10 to 15 minutes to prevent them from catching on fire, which would become a fire hazard.
You can use either pickle slices or pickle spears.
Check on the pickles frequently since each air fryer is slightly different, and cooking times will vary.
