I’m going to show you how to make pizza stromboli in the air fryer. It’s one of my favorite recipes because it’s easy and perfect for game day or any other time of the year!

There are a lot of reasons I am infatuated with air from stromboli pizza! It’s got toasty crust, and oozes with cuts of meat and lots of melted cheese. Can we say food heaven???

This is a very quick and easy recipe, made with fresh Italian coldcuts. This is a great meal that will soon become one of your favorite Air Fryer Recipes.

Ingredients Needed For Air Fryer Stromboli

  • All Purpose Flour
  • Italian Seasoning
  • Optional: Pizza Sauce

How To Make Italian Stromboli

Step 1: Fill the pizza dough

Start by rolling out the pizza dough on a floured surface. Then lay down the ham, salami, provolone cheese, and pepperoni, and sprinkle the mozzarella cheese on top.

In a small bowl, mix the melted butter and minced garlic. Roll up the dough and pinch the edges to seal.

Step 3: Sprinkle Italian Seasonings

Place the Stromboli in Air Fryer Basket, sprinkle the Italian Seasoning on top.

Step 4: Cut slits

Cut the slits into the stromboli, about every 2 inches, so that it will not explode as it cooks up.

Step 5: Air Fry pizza stromboli

Set the temperature to 350 degrees F, air fryer setting, and set the time for 10 to 12 minutes.

Pro Tips:

  • This Italian stromboli recipe will work in any Air Fryer Basket or Oven Model. This recipe will also work in the Ninja Foodi, Instant Pot Vortex, Instant Pot Crisp Lid, and Mealthy Lid. The recipe will work the same, and the cooking time will vary.
  • Leave room in the basket, so the hot air can circulate the air fryer stromboli to cook it perfectly.
  • Leave room on the pizza dough so that the fillings will not leak out while you cook it up.
  • Make slits in the pizza stromboli dough so that the dough doesn’t bubble over and does not explode in the Air Fryer.
  • If you do not want to use a butter glaze on top of the pepperoni stromboli, you can always make an egg wash instead.
  • If you find that the dough is browning too much, you can always add a piece of foil on top and reduce the temperature without the underside cooking. Remember to cook until it’s fully cooked.

Variations:

This is such a versatile recipe, and you can add any of your favorite pizza toppings inside the stromboli pizza.

Sure! You can totally customize the fillings to whatever you like. You can add any meats you like, or omit what you don’t like!

How long will Italian stromboli last?

It’s best right out of the air fryer, but you can save leftovers if you want. Allow the pizza stromboli to cool all the way. Then refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 3 days.

How do you reheat air fryer stromboli?

Place the stromboli pizza back into the air fryer and heat at 350 for 5 minutes or until it’s hot all the way through.
