There is nothing better in the summertime than an Easy Baked Beans Recipe. Today, I am bringing you one of my family’s favorites BBQ summer side dishes.
Made with a few simple ingredients, you can have this dish at your next family get-together, potluck, or bbq. Simple and delicious, and so easy to prepare.
Everyone loves a side dish of baked beans; this recipe is so simple. You can also bake it up in the Air Fryer, so your house stays cool during the hot summer days.

What Are Baked Beans?
Baked beans is a dish prepared with beans, then mixed with a few pantry items, and then baked to perfection. Although you can leave out the bacon, most baked bean recipes will include bacon or bacon bits.
The beans will vary from canned to navy beans, common beans, kidney, cannellini, or French beans. Today, I used a simple canned bean to make this a quick and easy meal to whip up as a side dish.

Ingredients In Easy Baked Beans Recipe
- Baked Beans or Pork & Beans
- Ketchup
- Mustard
- Brown Sugar
- Red Onion
- Cooked Bacon
- Salt & Pepper
How To Make Easy Baked Beans Recipe
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F. Drain all the juice out of the can of beans and pour the beans into a mixing bowl. Slice the bacon into small pieces. Add the bacon, red onion, ketchup, mustard, brown sugar, salt & pepper to the bowl.
Mix well.
Pour into a cast-iron skillet or baking pan and bake for 15 minutes. To make in the air fryer, pour into a baking pan, and air fry at 330 degrees F, air fryer setting, until warmed through.
Plate, serve, and enjoy!

HOW LONG TO COOK BAKED BEANS
The longer you bake your beans, the better they get. If you love them carmelized, keep on baking or air frying them until the sauce is really thick.
HOW TO MAKE BACON
To make bacon, you can make it in various ways; you can air fry it for about 8 to 10 minutes at 400 degrees F, flipping halfway.
Or you can bake it in a preheated oven at 400 degrees F for 15 to 18 minutes, flipping halfway.
You can also microwave the bacon, until crispy.
HOW TO STORE THE LEFTOVERS
Any leftovers should be store in the refrigerator. Just let them cool to room temperature and then place them into an airtight container.
Place the container into the refrigerator. The leftover baked beans will keep for about 3 to 5 days.
HOW TO REHEAT THE LEFTOVER BAKED BEANS
To heat up again, place them into a microwave-safe bowl and microwave them until hot. You can also heat them in the Air Fryer, place them into a bowl, and air fry until heated through.
Also, you can heat them in a skillet, over medium-high heat, heat until warmed through.
HOW TO FREEZE BAKED BEANS
This is a great side dish to keep in your freezer. Cook them as directed and then let them cool to room temperature and then place into a freezer-safe container, and freeze for about 1 to 2 months.
To use from frozen: Place the frozen baked beans into the refrigerator and let them thaw overnight. Reheat them with the directions above.

- 1/4 Cup Ketchup

Instructions
