How To Make Ravioli Lasagna In Air Fryer

Frozen ravioli arranged in a single layer in an air fryer pan.

Step One: Place your frozen ravioli (single layer) into an air fryer safe pan.

Step Two: Then spread the pasta sauce over the ravioli and sprinkle the cheese. Then add another layer of ravioli, and spoon more sauce over that layer of lasagna. The final layer (I made two layers for this lasagna; the number of layers will, of course, be determined by the size of your air fryer and the size of your pan)

Step Three: Sprinkle the final layer with shredded mozzarella cheese, then place the pan into the air fryer. Set the temperature to 320 degrees F, set cook time for 5-8 minutes. Check to make sure the bottom layer is cooked before you remove it.

    • Spicy Twist: Add red pepper flakes or spicy sausage.
    • Extra Cheese: Layer with ricotta or Parmesan for richness.

Air Fryer Ravioli Lasagna Recipe Tips

    • Check the Bottom Layer: Before serving, make sure the bottom layer is cooked thoroughly.
    • Use Non-Stick Spray: Lightly spray your pan to prevent sticking and ensure easy removal.
    • Customize with Toppings: Experiment with additional toppings like fresh basil, garlic, or red pepper flakes.
    • Add Extra Layers: If your air fryer pan allows, add more layers of ravioli for a heartier meal.
    • Use Frozen Ravioli: Frozen ravioli holds its shape and crisps up better than fresh ravioli.
    • Don’t Skip the Cheese: Mozzarella is key for that stretchy, melty goodness. Add extra for richness.
    • Let It Rest: After cooking, let the lasagna rest for a few minutes to set before serving.

    Storing

    • Storing: Keep leftover Air Fryer Ravioli Lasagna in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Allow it to cool before storing to prevent excess moisture buildup.
    • Freezing: Wrap individual portions in plastic wrap and place them in a freezer-safe container for up to 2 months. Thaw in the refrigerator overnight before reheating.
    • Reheating: Warm leftovers in the air fryer at 300°F for 5-7 minutes until heated through. You can also reheat in the microwave for 1-2 minutes, but it may be less crispy.

What To Serve With Air Fryer Lasagna With Raviolis Recipe

Air Fryer Ravioli Lasagna pairs perfectly with a variety of side dishes to create a well-rounded meal. Serve it with a fresh green salad tossed in a light vinaigrette or a classic Caesar salad for a refreshing contrast to the rich, cheesy layers. Garlic bread or homemade breadsticks are great for soaking up any extra sauce, while roasted or air-fried vegetables like zucchini, bell peppers, or asparagus add a healthy touch. For an extra indulgent option, pair it with a warm bowl of tomato soup or a side of cheesy garlic mashed potatoes. A simple fruit salad or a light dessert, like sorbet or biscotti, makes for a satisfying finish!

Air Fryer Lasagna With Raviolis Recipe Faqs

Can I use fresh ravioli instead of frozen? Yes, but fresh ravioli cooks faster, so reduce the cooking time slightly to avoid overcooking.

What kind of ravioli works best for this recipe? Cheese or meat-filled ravioli work great, but you can also use spinach, mushroom, or any preferred filling.

Do I need to cook the ravioli before layering? No, frozen ravioli cooks perfectly in the air fryer without pre-boiling.

Can I make this ahead of time? Yes! Assemble the layers in an air fryer-safe pan, cover, and refrigerate for up to 24 hours before cooking.

How do I prevent the top from burning? If the cheese browns too quickly, cover the top with foil for part of the cooking time.

Can I make this recipe gluten-free? Absolutely! Just use gluten-free ravioli and check that your sauce is gluten-free.
