Air Fryer Roasted Spiralized Beets are amazing! They make for the best and perfect side dish, and they go with everything. After all, who doesn’t like roasted Air Fryer Beets?

Today, I made this with my son. We experimented with my new toy, a spiralizer, and I thought, I already made Air Fryer Zoodles; why not, Beet Noodles?

Not only do they come out amazing. They taste amazing, and I only tossed the roasted beets with a few spices and some olive oil. This made for a great and easy but healthy side dish.

I love the air fryer. I usually have my Instant Pot or Ninja Foodi going with a side dish or the main dish and opposite the Air Fryer. Today, I made a simple Air Fryer Steak in the Ninja and had the Air Fryer Roasted Spiralized Beets as a side dish, along with a salad, and it made for a healthy and delicious meal.

Air Fryer Beets

What Are Beets?

I am sure that you have seen beets in the grocery store. They are usually sold in America either as fresh in the produce department or canned in the grocery aisles.

Beets are called Beetroot; they’ve grown with two parts, the taproot, the part we eat, and the leaves, which some people eat. The leaves are mostly boiled or steamed and taste similar to spinach.

One of the interesting facts that I did not know is that beets are in a lot of foods, you would think they are in. They serve as a food coloring for many food products, including tomato paste and other red food products sold.

Are Beets Healthy For You?

Yes, beets are so healthy for you. They are filled with so many vitamins and nutrients. They have lots of fiber, folate, Vitamin B9, manganese, potassium, iron, and Vitamin C.

Beets have also been linked with helping blood flow, lowering blood pressure, and helping with overall health.

How To Make Air Fryer Roasted Spiralized Beets

Start by spiralizing the beets, either by hand, cutting them into thin strips, with a sharp knife, or with your spiralizer.

After you cut your beets, lay them out on a paper towel, and try to dry them as much as possible. This will cause your beets to really crisp up.

After you dry your beets out for about 20 minutes, add them to a large bowl, add olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and mix well.

Set the beets into the air fryer basket, set the temperature to 350 degrees F, air fryer setting for 10 minutes, shake the basket frequently.

If you do not have a basket-type air fryer, you will use a pair of tongs and toss the beets frequently.

Do I Have to Use a Spiralizer?

No, while it is so much easier if you have a spiralizer. If you do not own one, use a sharp knife and cut the beets into long strips.

The recipe will be exactly the same.

Do I Have to Roast the Beets?

No, they can be spiralized and then left raw. You can eat them raw into salads.

I would toss the uncooked beets with a light and simple salad dressing and serve them up raw. This way, they have some flavor.

Which Spiralizer Do You Recommend?

I really recommend that you get a great spiralizer, as this will quickly become one of your favorite kitchen tools.
