Air Fryer-Roasted Broccoli

Air Fryer Broccoli is one of the best air fryer roasted vegetables. It is incredibly easy, fast, and absolutely delicious. It is one of my family’s favorites, and it comes out AMAZING in the Air Fryer!

Broccoli has to be one of my new favorite vegetables since I started using my air fryer.  It comes out amazing in the air fryer, with tender florets, perfectly roasted, and you do not even need many ingredients.

This is my foolproof method because my goal is to have a great side dish to serve to your family.

Some great and easy air fryer vegetable recipes are AIR FRYER, ROASTED TOMATOES, AND ZUCCHINI FLATBREAD, AIR FRYER FRIED CABBAGE, INSTANT POT PASTA, FETA, AND TOMATOES and AIR FRYER RICOTTA TOAST WITH ROASTED GARLIC AND TOMATOES.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO MAKE AIR FRYER BROCCOLI

All you really need is a few ingredients to make a great plate of roasted air fryer broccoli. Add any seasonings that you want after the broccoli is fully toasted.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound broccoli florets
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Optional: Seasonings,  salt, pepper, and garlic powder create a tasty side dish.

How To Cook Broccoli In Air Fryer

  1. Cut the broccoli, so you only have small florets. Put them into a bowl.
  2. Mix the olive oil with the broccoli and add to the Air Fryer Basket.
  3. Set the time for 4 minutes at 350 degrees F.  When the time is up, mix well, and return for another 4 minutes (same temperature)
  4. Plate, serve, and enjoy!

Add it to your Air Fryer Basket, set the temperature to 350 degrees F. and set the time for 4 minutes.

At 4 minutes, mix the broccoli up, and add another 4 minutes.

Look at that color!

Some Pro Tips For Air Frying Broccoli–

  1. The most important thing to remember is that you need to make sure that all of the florets are coated with olive oil. As you can see from the pictures, I usually add it all to a bowl, and then I use my hands and coat it. There is no better cooking tool; I have been told, than your hands.
  2. Coating each floret with olive oil allows for the florets to roast perfectly.
  3. They need to be an even layer as you put them into your air fryer. Otherwise, they will not air fry correctly.
  4. Check on your broccoli; I am constantly checking and shaking the basket, which will ensure that your broccoli florets are PERFECTLY roasted. Do not just leave them, and hope for the best, especially if this is your first time making roasted broccoli.
  5. Remember, every air fryer is different.

How To Cook Frozen Broccoli In Air Fryer

Yes, you can air fry frozen vegetables. I have a lot of fabulous air fryer roasted vegetables, using frozen.

I would recommend that you add your seasonings after the vegetables have defrosted a bit, from air frying.

Frozen broccoli will need to air fry for about 7-10 minutes at the same temperature, called for in the recipe card below.

Is broccoli good in the air fryer?

YES, Air Fryer Roasted Broccoli is amazing and healthy because you use less oil than roasting in your oven, but the air fryer helps crisp the broccoli.

One cup of broccoli contains 61 calories, 4 grams of fat,  6 grams of carbohydrates, 2 grams of fiber, and 3 grams of protein.

That is a great, delicious, and healthy side dish for any meal!

CAN I MAKE AIR FRYER BROCCOLI AHEAD OF TIME?

Absolutely, this is a great vegetable to make the day before and keep in the refrigerator for the next day.

I often make a bunch of air fryer vegetables during the week. To keep vegetables at their peak, prepare the vegetables and then let them cool to room temperature.

Place the vegetables into an airtight container until serving time. And then reheat in the air fryer or the microave.
