Air Fryer Italian Sausage Balls — Don’t let the name fool you. Air Fryer Italian Sausage Balls are as easy to make as traditional fried ones. This is a family favorite recipe we’ve been making for years and now it’s perfect for an air fryer! You’ll be surprised how delicious they taste!
The best part? They’re healthy too, without the need for adding more oil to cook them up. All without sacrificing flavor! These would be perfectly served at your next party or game day event while still being healthy enough for weeknight dinners. We hope you try these out soon-you won’t regret it!
These are also very KETO and Low-Carb Friendly, and only have a few ingredients, which means you can whip these up in minutes!
These make for an amazing appetizer, breakfast, lunch, or dinner food! And since they are almost all protein, they will keep you filled for hours!

- For best results, try to shape all of the meatballs in about the same size, so they all cook up at the same time.
- Try using a cookie scoop, if you have trouble shaping the Air Fryer Italian Sausage Balls.
LEFTOVERS AND REHEATING INSTRUCTIONS
These make for a great next-day meal, as long as they are stored correctly. For best results, let them cool to room temperature, and then place them into an airtight container. They will last in the refrigerator for about 3 to 5 days.
To Reheat them, place them into the air fryer basket or in the microwave and heat until warmed through.
FREEZER INSTRUCTIONS
These freeze very well, so if you have been looking for a great meal-prep recipe, this is one of my favorites.
To freeze, prepare as directed in the recipe below, but don’t cook them. Place them on a baking sheet that has been lined with parchment paper. Then place the baking sheet into the freezer, until the meatballs are frozen solid.
Remove the frozen meatballs from the baking tray and place them into a freezer bag, they will last about 1 to 2 months.
Cook them per the directions below, but add a few minutes, since you are starting them from frozen.
