Air Fryer Cream Cheese and Herb Stuffed Chicken

When you are on a low-carb or KETO diet, finding easy dinner options is always an ordeal, and you get sick of eating the same stuff, day after day. So, when my husband went to get bagels for the family, I asked him to get me a tub of Garlic & Herb Cream Cheese. I knew exactly what I was going to do, with my treat from the bagel store.

The best thing about this recipe is that the chicken comes out nice and flavorful and juicy, because of the cream cheese in the center.

This is a really easy and simple recipe,

Here are the Ingredients I used:

  • 4 ounces Garlic & Herb Cream Cheese
  • 2 (6 ounces) boneless, skinless chicken breast
  • Salt and Pepper
  • Italian seasoning
  • Olive oil

Here are the Simple Directions,

  1. Start by cutting a pocket into the chicken breast. The easiest way to do this is to put one hand on the chicken breast and use your knife to cut into the center.
  2. Add the filling into the cavity you created.
  3. Place the chicken into the air fryer basket, spray the chicken with olive oil, and set in the air fryer for 10 minutes at 370 degrees F (air fryer setting)
  4. Then take the chicken breasts out, and spray them with olive oil, add some Italian seasoning on top.
  5. Add another 5-7 minutes. Then use a meat thermometer and check the temperature, mine reached 165 degrees F, so I removed the chicken from the air fryer.
  6. The time to cook will depend on how thick your chicken is and what air fryer you own.
  7. Allow to rest, for about 5 minutes, before serving.

If you want to make this meal ahead of time, this is a great one to assemble the day you are going to make it. I usually prep in the morning before heading to work. Then we get you home, just pop them into the air fryer.
