How To Make Air Fried Stuffed Chicken

How To Make Air Fried Stuffed Chicken

How to prep the chicken

Start by laying out the chicken on a cutting board. Liberally season your chicken with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Then use a knife and cut a hole into the side of the chicken.

How to make filling

Diced the broccoli into small pieces. Then add it to a microwave-safe bowl, add about 2 tablespoons of water, place the bowl, hold the broccoli and water in the microwave, and set the time for 1 minute. (this will steam the broccoli) Remove the broccoli from the microwave and mix in the cheese, and mix well.

Stuff The Chicken: Then use your fingers and stuff your chicken breast with the broccoli and cheese mixture.

How to cook your stuffed chicken breast in air fryer

Spray the inside of your basket with non-stick cooking spray or olive oil and place the chicken breasts on top. Spray your chicken with olive oil spray, and then set the time for 7 minutes at 370 degrees F. After 7 minutes, check your chicken, flip and spray with olive oil, and cook for another 5 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F.

Keep in mind

It is important that its mentioned how eating raw chicken can have a lot of bad side effects. That is why it is so important that you check that the chicken is cooked all of the way through.

The internal temperature of the chicken is an important part of cooking this recipe. Check the thickest part of the chicken with a meat thermometer or an instant-read thermometer to ensure that the chicken is at least 165 degrees f internally

Tips and Tricks

I have been cooking this stuffed chicken breast for my family for a few years now. Every time I feel like I pick up a new trick to make it taste even better than the last time I served it!

Here are a few things that have helped make this meal a staple in my own home:

  • The creamy filling can be made with different types of cheese and vegetables. You can blend by hand in a large bowl just make sure to dice your veggies into tiny pieces on a cutting board first. Another option is to use a blender like a ninja foodi, which will help you save time.
  • If you can take a few minutes to steam your vegetables before adding them to your cheese mixture, the flavor is even better. When I add broccoli, for example, I will add it to a microwave-safe bowl, add about 2 tablespoons of water, place the bowl, hold the broccoli and water in the microwave, and set the time for 1 minute.
  • When adding multiple chicken pieces into the air fryer, try to get them as close to the same size as possible. That way all of the pieces will cook in the same amount of time.
  • If you prefer a spicier blend, try out pepper jack cheese and a dash of spicy red pepper flakes! Just make sure you serve with a glass of milk for sensitive pallets.
