  • Sweet Potatoes: Look for firm and unblemished sweet potatoes.
  • Oil: Use any high-heat oil such as avocado oil, grapeseed oil, or olive oil.
  • Lime Juice: For best taste, add some freshly squeezed lime juice
  • Seasonings: Chili Powder, Ground Cumin, Salt and Black Pepper

How To Make Air Fryer Mexican Sweet Potatoes

STEP ONE: Wash and dry your sweet potatoes, then peel them.

STEP TWO: Cut your sweet potatoes into 1-inch pieces, being careful to cut them into the same size pieces. So, they all air fry up at the same time.

STEP THREE: Add the diced sweet potatoes, oil, lime juice, and seasonings to a large bowl, and toss well to coat.

STEP FOUR: Add your sweet potato mixture to the air fryer basket, in a single layer, and set the temperature to 380 degrees F, air fry for 15 to 20 minutes. Shake the basket several times during the cooking process. So they all get evenly cooked.

STEP FIVE: Remove the sweet potatoes, when they are fork-tender.
