What is Polenta?
Polenta comes in two forms; one is cooked dan one is uncooked. You can usually tell the difference at the grocery store since one comes as grain and comes in a roll.
Polenta is ground cornmeal used in several Italian, Romania, Moldova, and Argentina dishes.
The cooked polenta is sold in tubes at the grocery store, Trader Joe’s, and even Costco. They are traditional baked or pan-fried. And then topped.
My mother used to make lasagna out of the bottom in my household since you can top them with anything, including traditional lasagna toppings.
