This was such an easy recipe. The only thing I had a hard time with, was cutting the bagel chips, I just ordered this, which will help me greatly, in my pursuit of making the perfect bagel chips.
Mandoline Slicer
The other thing is that presliced bagels, actually are harder to cut then whole bagels.
If you don’t know what a bagel chip is, they are simply roasted bagels, that are tossed with spices and olive oil (in our case) they are used as an alternative to chips, so if you ever have a stale bagel, this is the recipe for you. So, save all of your stale bagels, and follow this recipe.

These are a really great use for stale bagels, they go with any kind of dip or salsa.
- 3 bagels (I used everything)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
-
Start by cutting the bagels into small pieces.
-
Then add the olive oil to the bagels, if you need to use more to coat the bagels, add more. You want to really make sure they are coated before you add them to the air fryer.
-
Then spread them up, if you have a basket or tray, just make to leave space between them.
-
Set the air fryer at 320 degrees F, (air fryer setting) for 5 minutes.
-
Let cool, (to store, just place them in an airtight container)
-
Plate, serve and enjoy!
