Well, it’s made by blending cream cheese with sour cream, mayonnaise, garlic powder, lemon juice and salt. Then you stir in chopped fresh or frozen spinach leaves and canned artichoke hearts to give the sauce its signature green color and creamy texture. Ingredients Needed For Instant Pot Spinach and Artichoke Dip
- Artichoke Hearts
- Cream Cheese
- Sour Cream
- Vegetable Broth
- Minced Garlic
- Red Pepper Flakes
- Shredded Cheddar Cheese
How To Make Instant Pot Spinach and Artichoke Dip
Add the spinach, artichoke hearts, cream cheese, sour cream, vegetable broth, scallions, minced garlic, salt, red pepper flakes in the Instant Pot bowl.
Place the lid onto the Instant Pot, closing the vent to the sealed position.
Set the Instant Pot to High Pressure for 3 minutes. Once the time is done, do a quick release by pushing the valve away from you to open the pressure.
Open the lid and mix well. Mix in the cheese.
- You can prepare this recipe in the Instant Pot Pressure Cooker, Ninja Foodi, or other Pressure Cooker. The recipe will remain the same.
- Be sure to drain the artichoke hearts before adding them to the pressure cooker bowl.
Spinach: While I used frozen spinach today, you can always use fresh spinach. You will need about a pound of fresh spinach for this recipe.
Sour Cream: You can substitute for Greek Yogurt.
How To Store:
You can easily make this Instant Pot Spinach and Artichoke Dip ahead of time or make it the night before. Cover and place into the refrigerator. Before serving, you can either reheat them in the microwave or a small saucepan.
What To Serve This With:
There are so many ways that you can serve this up. My favorite is in a bread bowl. I either purchase empty bread bowls at Walmart or Panera. Check your area for where they sell them.
Serve with crackers, fresh vegetables, or as part of an appetizer sampler at your next get-together, Holiday Celebration, or Party.
