What Are Domino’s Bread Twists?

If you have never been to a Domino’s before or just have not eaten bread twists, they’re characterized by two breadsticks that are twisted together, hence the name.

The breadsticks are covered by melted butter with various spices and then covered in freshly grated Parmesan cheese.

  • All-Purpose Flour
  • Baking Powder
  • Salt
  • Garlic Powder
  • Butter
  • Greek Yogurt
  • Olive Oil
  • Red Pepper Flakes
  • Oregano
  • Grated Parmesan

How To Make Air Fryer Copycat Domino’s Bread Twists

In a medium-sized bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, salt, garlic powder. Then cut in the butter, mix well, and mix well before adding the Greek Yogurt until your dough starts to form. At this point, it should be very crumbly.

Transfer your dough to a floured surface, knead for a few minutes, then roll it into one dough ball.

Divide the dough into six equal portions. Then roll the dough into a long log, about 8 inches each, dividing each into two pieces. Twist the two strips together to form a braid.

Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray, brush the bread twists with melted butter or cooking spray, set the dough into the air fryer for 5 minutes at 320 degrees F, flip and air fry for another 5 to 8 minutes until fully cooked.

In a small mixing bowl while the bread is air frying up, mix the olive oil, butter, garlic powder, red pepper flakes, and oregano. When the bread is done baking, brush the mixture onto the top of the twists.

STORING BREAD

Suppose you have some bread left over. Allow it to cool down on a cooling rack. Then you can store your bread in an airtight container or sealable bag on the counter at room temperature.

Ingredients 

Dough:

Bread Twist Topping:
