What Pans To Use For Baking In The Air Fryer?
The two questions I always get asked is what pan to use. The key to baking in the air fryer is to use a pan that is not too thick. It will not cook. Here are my two favorites for cornbread in the air fryer,
First is the Fat Daddio’s Round Cheesecake Pan, which fits most basket air fryers. IF you are going to use this pan, please remember not to fill it the entire way up, as it will never bake. I usually fill my pan about 2/3 the way full.
The second for everyone looking for a great presentation, and I recommend this across the board, bundt cakes do AMAZINGLY well in the air fryer because you don’t have to worry about them cooking the middle.
Ingredients Needed For Jiffy Cornbread In The Air Fryer
A box of Jiffy Cornbread, regular or Vegetarian.
How To Make Jiffy Cornbread In The Air Fryer
I followed the boxes instructions and mixed in an egg and milk.
Just remember to mix well, scraping the sides to get all of the mixes.
As you can see, I used my EVVO Sprayer and sprayed my pan and then put my prepared mix into the pan. I air-fried it for 15 minutes at 310 degrees. F. If it is not cooked, and the toothpick does not come out clean in the center, add 5 minutes until it’s nice and golden brown.
Note: The exact time will depend on what air fryer pan you are using and what air fryer you own.

Just tried this recipe in my Cuisinart Airfryer Toaster Oven. Prepared mix as you instructed and poured in a 7” Fat Daddio pan. Set the temp to 325° and placed pan on wire rack at the lower level for 15 min. Turned out perfect!
Thanks for your tips.

Made it in the basket of my Ninja air fryer. Just a smattering of veg oil on the bottom. Turned out perfectly. 1st time I’ve ever tried to bake anything.

I had to extend the time some because I was cooking it in a small loaf pan in my instant pot vortex air fryer but came out great! I’d say after adjusting the time it was in there for about 20 minutes
Jade
I made the recipe but my air fryer took 25 minutes at 325. Should’ve turned up the temp but was too scared to burn it. Nonetheless, came out amazing and I also didn’t use a baking sheet just sprayed the bottom of the air fryer with avocado oil.

Can I use silicone muffin cups???

Didn’t let me reply to the individual (Patti) who asked about doing it straight on air fryer. I didn’t have a baking pan so I did straight on my ninja air fryer. 315 for 15 minutes and 350 for 5 minutes. Came out perfect even thought I didn’t use a baking pan. It came out perfect.

Thank you for reading, I love air fryer cornbread.

Me too! I have the dual Foodie and had to squish the rectangular alum pan a bit to get it in, but it worked great. Perfect cornbread! I had to cook mine a little longer though, about 18 mins.

I never thought to use disposable foil pans. Thanks for the idea!

Unlike a lot of people, I prefer to comment only AFTER actually trying someone’s recipe:) I used your recipe tonight. I have a Cosori air fryer. I found the cornbread was perfectly done and moist at 310 degrees after 11 minutes. Thank you for a great recipe. BTW–I used buttermilk…that makes a difference I think. Thanks for a terrific recipe:)

Original jiffy cornbread has lard or something in it. Now you have me looking for vegetarian jiffy, I haven’t had it since high school.
