Frozen Biscuits in Air Fryer are amazing! There is no better kitchen tool for quick cooking. So, the next time that you need a batch, forget about the oven and reach for your air fryer instead. They are perfect and delicious every single time!
Frozen Biscuits in Air Fryer
You can have a great batch of biscuits right from the air fryer with a few simple steps.
This was one of my first air fryer recipes, and they never disappoint. You don’t have to worry about waiting for your oven to preheat and then waiting even longer for the biscuits to cook up. Air fryer frozen biscuits come out perfectly cooked every time.
There are so many varieties out there. Today I tried Pillsbury, and they were amazing. But you can use this recipe for any frozen biscuit.
I have tested this recipe for frozen biscuits in air fryer with a LOT of different air fryers, from the Ninja Foodi and Instant Pot Crisp Lid to PowerXL. The recipe will work with all of them. The cooking time will be about 1 to 2 minutes different, depending on your air fryer!
If you are looking for even more Air Fryer Biscuit Recipes (including homemade), some of my favorites are AIR FRYER BUTTER SWIM BISCUITS, AIR FRYER BUTTERMILK BISCUITS, AIR FRYER BLUEBERRY BISCUITS, and AIR FRYER CHEDDAR THYME FLAKY BISCUITS.
Why You’ll Love Air Fryer Frozen Biscuits
- Ready in 15 minutes
- Light, fluffy, and buttery results every time
- So easy to make
- The perfect side dish
Ingredients Needed For Frozen Biscuits in the Air Fryer
- Biscuits: Use 1 package, any type. I personally love Pillsbury frozen biscuits.
How To Make Frozen Biscuits in Air Fryer
Start by opening your package, then place the frozen biscuits in air fryer.
Set to 340 degrees F, air fryer setting, for 10 minutes and air fry. Don’t forget to flip them halfway through for even cooking!
When your air fryer frozen biscuits are done, remove them from the basket and enjoy!
What Are The Best Frozen Biscuits?
There are so many brands. I usually use Pillsbury frozen biscuits, they’re almost always available at my local grocery store. You can use any brand that you have with this recipe. Some of my other favorites are:
- Rhodes
- Mary B’s
- Great Value
- Trader Joe’s
- Costco
- Store-Brand
How Long to Cook Frozen Biscuits?
The average time for your air fryer will be about 8 to 10 minutes. It’s so much quicker than preheating your oven and then cooking, where the baking time is listed at 20 minutes.
Next time save yourself some time and cook your frozen biscuits in your air fryer instead!
You do not need any cooking spray or parchment paper. After cooking these for years, I have found you only need your frozen biscuits.
What Shelf Should I Cook These On If I Have An Oven?
I would always advise you to make any baked goods on the bottom shelf.
When I use a different shelf, I notice that my baked goods will get browned on top too quickly and not cooked in the middle.
What To Serve With Frozen Biscuits in the Air Fryer
You can serve these with anything! The first time I made them was to serve alongside Instant Pot Sausage Gravy.
Frozen biscuits in the air fryer are super versatile. As you can see in the photos, I brush them with butter (which my kids love). You could also serve them alongside eggs in the morning, or create a breakfast sandwich!

I have a question rather than a comment. Some time ago Pillsbury sold pre baked biscuits that could be microwaved in seconds. Why did they discontinue this wonderful item?
Laurie
I do not know. My guess is no, since I have never seen them.

I have the instant pot vortex air fryer oven. All the recipes I see are for the basket types. Can I adjust this for my type of oven or is it the same?
Laurie
they are the same recipe, almost the same times.

Thankful to be able to use the air fryer! Mine took 6 mins on each side at 320 to not be doughy in the center.

I want my biscuits to be browned. I use frozen because I was dumping to many that were left over. Also when I baked them in the oven, it seems that was a waste heating the oven for 2 or 3. I was so happy to find I could cook them in the air fryer. All are different so you will have to check and turn until you get the correct time and temp.
