Ingredients Needed
- Diced Chicken: Use cooked, diced chicken for a quick and easy preparation.
- Shredded Cheddar Cheese: Adds a rich, cheesy flavor and creamy texture.
- Ranch Dressing: Infuses the chicken mixture with a tangy, savory flavor.
- Cooked Bacon: Adds a smoky, crispy element to the bites.

How To Make Air Fryer Crack Chicken Crescent Bites
Step One: Mix the diced chicken, bacon, shredded cheddar cheese, and reach dressing in a large bowl. Mix well to coat all of your ingredients.
Step Two: Line your air fryer basket with parchment paper. On a flat surface, lay out your crescent dough. Using a sharp knife, cut your dough into six equal pieces. Add two to three tablespoons of filing to each crescent square.
Step Three: Fold over the dough, using your fingers to press the dough together so it adheres to itself.
Step Four: Set the crescent rolls into the air fryer basket, and set the temperature to 330 degrees F, air fryer setting for 8 to 10 minutes. Remove when fully cooked.
Recipe Variations
- Chicken: You can use either store-bought rotisserie chicken and shred it or just a boneless, skinless chicken breast and cook it in the air fryer.
- Cheese: Use any grated cheese you want, I used shredded cheddar, but you can use Monterey Cheese, Mexican Cheese, or even shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Ranch Dressing: use homemade or store-bought Ranch Dressing. Either will work for this recipe.
- Bacon: You can use regular or turkey bacon. Both regular air fryer bacon and air fryer turkey bacon can be prepared in the air fryer before making the crescent bites.
- Seasonings: While I did not add any herbs, you can add some garlic or onion powder, or even some hot sauce, to add some spice.
Air Fryer Crack Chicken Crescent Bites Recipe Tips
- Use Pre-Cooked Chicken: To save time and ensure even cooking, use pre-cooked, diced chicken.
- Mix Ingredients Thoroughly: Combine the diced chicken, shredded cheddar cheese, ranch dressing, and cooked bacon well before stuffing the crescent rolls.
- Chill the Filling: Refrigerate the chicken mixture for about 15-20 minutes before filling the crescent rolls.
- Don’t Overfill the Rolls: Use a moderate amount of filling in each crescent roll to prevent them from bursting open during air frying.
- Seal Edges Properly: Make sure to pinch the edges of the crescent rolls tightly to seal the filling inside.
- Use Parchment Paper or a Light Spray of Oil: Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper or lightly spray with cooking oil to prevent sticking and make cleanup easier.
- Cook in Batches: Avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket.
- Monitor Cooking Time: Check frequently to avoid overcooking.
- Serve Immediately: For the best texture and flavor, serve the crack chicken bites immediately after cooking.
