How To Make Air Fryer Apple Cinnamon Monkey Bread

Chopped apple pieces mixed with cinnamon, brown sugar, and melted butter in a bowl, coated evenly.

Step One: Chop apples into small pieces (discard the stem, seeds, and core). Place apple pieces and cinnamon in a bowl. Add brown sugar and melted butter mix well until apples are evenly coated. Set aside.

Biscuit dough cut into quarter pieces and placed in a large mixing bowl.

Step Two: Cut biscuits into ¼ pieces. Place the ¼ pieces into a large bowl.

Biscuit pieces in a bowl being coated evenly with apple, cinnamon, brown sugar, and butter mixture.

Step Three: Preheat the air fryer to 325 degrees F, air fryer setting. Pour apple mixture over biscuit pieces. Using a large spoon, gently mix it, so the biscuit pieces are completely covered in the apple mixture.

Apple-coated biscuit pieces transferred into a greased Bundt pan, ready to air fry until golden brown and fully cooked.

Step Four: Grease a Bundt cake pan*. Transfer the apple-covered biscuits to your Bundt cake pan. Spreading the mixture evenly around the edges.  Place it right into the Air Fryer. Air fry for 18-22 minutes. It should turn a nice golden brown. When you insert a toothpick, it should come out clean if the dough is fully cooked!

Step Five: Remove from heat, allow to cool for 8 minutes. Flip Bundt cake pan upside down on a plate, allowing the monkey bread to fall out easily.

Air Fryer Apple Cinnamon Monkey Bread Recipe Tips

  • Use firm, crisp apples – Varieties like Granny Smith or Honeycrisp hold their shape and add the perfect tart-sweet flavor.
  • Cut biscuits evenly – Ensures all pieces cook at the same rate for uniform golden brown pull-aparts.
  • Coat everything well – Toss apples, cinnamon, sugar, butter, and biscuits thoroughly so every bite is flavorful.
  • Check your air fryer size – Use a Bundt pan or air fryer-safe dish that fits comfortably inside.
  • Don’t skip the glaze – The powdered sugar glaze adds sweetness and that signature sticky pull-apart finish.
