Air Fryer, Homemade Gingerbread Donuts

This is such an easy homemade donut recipe. My kids absolutely love them, and they often request that I make them over and over again. I usually bring them over for a treat, at any family get together.

  1. Start by adding your flour, cinnamon, baking soda, ground ginger, salt, and cloves to a large mixing bowl.
  2. Then add the softened butter (to soften butter, I either leave it out on the counter for 30 minutes or put it in the microwave for about 15 seconds)
  3. Then add in the brown sugar and eggs
  4. Mix in the lemon zest, molasses, and milk.
  5. Mix well.
  6. Then spray your silicone donut (see the list of items used in this recipe) and fill it with prepared batter.
  7. Set your air fryer temperature 320 degrees F, for 9 minutes.
    After 9 minutes check the donuts for doneness. If they are not cooked through, then add a minute or two, until cooked through.
  8. Plate, serve and enjoy!
