Ingredients
2cupsall-purpose flour
2teaspoonsground cinnamon
1teaspoonbaking soda
1teaspoonground ginger
1/2teaspoonsalt
1/2teaspoonground cloves
1stickbutter, room temperature
1/2cupbrown sugar
2largeeggs
1tablespoonlemon zest, grated
1/2cupmolasses
1cupmilk
Instructions
Add 2 cups all-purpose flour, 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon, 1 teaspoon baking soda, 1 teaspoon ground ginger, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves to a large mixing bowl.
Then add the softened 1 stick butter.
Then add in the 1/2 cup brown sugar and 2 large eggs Mix in the 1 tablespoon lemon zest, 1/2 cup molasses, and 1 cup milk.
Then spray your silicone donut and fill it with the prepared batter.
Air fry at 320°F for 9 minutes, then check for doneness. Add 1–2 more minutes if needed until fully cooked..
Oven Method: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a donut pan and fill each cavity about ¾ full with batter. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool completely before glazing or decorating.Skillet Option: Heat a lightly greased skillet over medium heat. Spoon batter into small rounds and cook 2–3 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Cool before adding glaze.
