Blackstone Griddle Taco Meat Recipe Tips

  • Use fresh spices: Freshly ground cumin, chili powder, and paprika give the meat a bolder, brighter flavor.
  • Don’t overcrowd the griddle: Cooking in batches ensures even browning and prevents steaming the meat.
  • Let flavors meld: After adding spices, cook for a couple of minutes to let the seasoning penetrate the beef.
  • Customize toppings: Offer shredded cheese, diced onions, lettuce, avocado, and salsa to enhance texture and taste.
  • Optional sear: For extra flavor, let the meat sit untouched for 1–2 minutes after browning to get a slight caramelized crust.

Storing Instructions

  • Refrigeration: Place cooked taco meat in an airtight container and store in the fridge for up to 4 days.
  • Freezing: Transfer cooled taco meat into a freezer-safe container or zip-top bag and freeze for up to 3 months.
  • Reheating: Warm in a skillet over medium heat, stirring occasionally, or microwave in a covered dish until heated through.
