Tips for the Best Air Fryer Steak Bites
You are going to love these steak bites. They’re quick and easy, and so good!
Steak: You want to use a good cut of beef that has plenty of marbling throughout. This will tenderize your meat as it air fries up!
Some great suggestions for steak are: New York Strip Steaks or Ribeyes will work well. For a budget-friendly option, use Top Sirloin Steak.
Oil: Any high heat oil will work for this recipe, including olive oil, avocado oil, sesame oil, and coconut oil.
Seasoning: I used a very simple seasoning today, but you can elevate this dish even more by adding your favorite steak seasoning!
What is Black Garlic?
As I have been cooking more and more at home, I have become more adventurous with the seasonings of my food, and trying new things.
One of my favorite new condiments I have been using is black garlic. If you love garlic, this is the one for you.
Black Garlic is nothing more than sweetened garlic, with the faint taste of tamarind or even balsamic vinegar. This gives the steak a sweet taste. It’s perfect in a lot of dishes!

How To Tell When Your Air Fryer Steak Bites Are Done?
The absolute best way to tell if your steak or any other protein is done after cooking it in the air fryer is by using a meat thermometer.
Check a couple of pieces of your steak bites, and see what the internal temperature reads.
According to the USDA, the temperature for meat is as follows:
- Rare:125 degrees F
- Medium-Rare:130 degrees F
- Medium: 140 degrees F
- Medium-Well: 150 degrees F
