Step 4: Grease your pan with cooking spray and spread half of the brownie batter evenly on the bottom. Layer Oreos on top, then spread the remaining batter over them, and finish with chopped Oreos and extra chocolate chips if desired.

Step 5: Place the pan in the air fryer basket and cook at 320°F for 20–25 minutes, or until the brownies are set. Check doneness with a toothpick inserted in the center—if it comes out clean, remove from the air fryer. Cooking time may vary depending on your air fryer model and pan thickness.

Air Fryer Oreo Brownies Recipe Tips

  • Don’t overmix the batter to keep brownies fudgy
  • Line or grease your pan well for easy removal
  • Crush Oreos slightly for better layering and texture
  • Check early since air fryers cook at different speeds
  • Use parchment paper if your pan tends to stick
  • Let brownies cool before slicing for clean cuts
  • Add extra Oreos on top for stronger cookies-and-cream flavor
  • Don’t overbake or you’ll lose that gooey center

Storing, Freezing and Reheating Instructions

  • Storing Instructions: Store leftover Oreo brownies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days. For longer freshness, refrigerate them for up to 5 days.
  • Freezing Instructions: Wrap brownies tightly in plastic wrap and place in a freezer-safe container for up to 2 months. Thaw in the refrigerator overnight before reheating or serving.
  • Reheating Instructions: Reheat brownies in the air fryer at 300°F for 2–3 minutes until warm and soft. You can also microwave for 10–15 seconds for a quick gooey texture.

Oreo Brownie Air Fryer Recipe Faqs

Can I use any type of Oreos? Yes, classic Oreos work best, but you can also use flavored varieties like double-stuffed or mint for a twist.

Do I need a special pan for the air fryer? You’ll need an air fryer-safe baking pan or a small metal or silicone pan that fits inside your basket.

Why are my brownies dry? They were likely overcooked. Air fryers vary, so start checking a few minutes early.

Can I make these without an air fryer? Yes, you can bake them in a conventional oven at 350°F for about 25-30 minutes.

How do I know when they’re done? Insert a toothpick in the center—if it comes out with a few moist crumbs, they’re ready.

Can I add extra chocolate? Absolutely. Chocolate chips or chunks make them even richer and more gooey.
