Yummy! Homemade Air Fryer Blondies, in less than 20 minutes from start to finish! My kids loved them, but they loved all the sweets I made in the air fryer.
If you have not made homemade blondies, they are rich, buttery, and chewy, and they are the perfect afternoon treat for everyone, young and old. I made a batch on Sunday, and by Monday, there were gone.
What Are Blondies?
The main question I get about blondies, is how are they different than brownies?
The answer is simple; there is NO CHOCOLATE in a blondie. Sometimes referred to as blonde brownies, they are made without cocoa powder. I used brown sugar today as a classical blondie.
Why Do Blondies Use Brown Sugar?
Blondies are known for their sweet taste rather than brownies, known for the chocolate flavor. This gives the blondie the molasses flavor; it is well known for.
I used dark brown sugar, which has molasses, for a deep rich flavor, but if you only have light brown sugar, you can substitute that out.

Tips For Making Air Fryer Blondies
- Use dark brown sugar; this will give you a sweeter and richer brownie. They will also become really moist in the air fryer.
- Butter: I melted the butter today since I feel it gives it a buttery texture and really goes well with the brown sugar’s sweetness.
- I used butterscotch chips, but you can switch it out or if you do not like butterscotch, omit.
- I used diced pecan,s but walnuts go well with the recipe. The nuts give an extra crunch, which is great in a cookie bar.
