How To Make Easy Air Fryer Blondies Recipe

Step 1: Start by lightly spraying your air fryer pan with olive oil to prevent sticking. In a mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, brown sugar, egg yolks, vanilla extract, and salt, then stir until the mixture is smooth and fully blended.
Step 2: Fold in the flour and baking powder until just combined, then gently mix in the butterscotch chips and diced pecans. Spread the batter into the prepared pan and air fry at 320°F for 12-15 minutes until golden and set.

Easy Air Fryer Blondies Recipe Tips
- Don’t overmix the batter: Stir just until everything comes together. Overmixing makes blondies dense instead of soft and chewy.
- Use parchment or heavy spray: Air fryer pans love to stick. A good spray or parchment liner makes cleanup way easier.
- Watch the cook time closely: Air fryers vary a lot. Start checking at 12 minutes so they don’t dry out.
- Don’t skip the egg yolks: They’re the secret to that rich, fudgy texture that makes blondies so good.
- Let them cool before cutting: They firm up as they cool, giving you cleaner slices instead of crumbly squares.
- Evenly spread the batter: A smooth, level layer helps them bake evenly from edge to center.
- Mix add-ins gently: Fold in butterscotch chips and pecans carefully so every bite gets a little of everything.
- Serve slightly warm: Warm blondies with melty chips taste like they came straight from a bakery.
Storing, Freezing and Reheating Instructions
- Storing Instructions: Store leftover blondies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. For longer freshness, keep them in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
- Freezing Instructions: Wrap blondies tightly in plastic wrap and place them in a freezer-safe bag or container. Freeze for up to 2 months for best texture and flavor.
- Reheating Instructions: Warm blondies in the air fryer at 300°F for 2–3 minutes or until soft and slightly gooey. You can also microwave for 10–15 seconds for a quick melt-in-your-mouth bite.

Easy Air Fryer Blondies Recipe Faqs
Can I make these without an air fryer? Yes, bake them in a 350°F oven for about 18–22 minutes until the edges are golden and the center is set. The texture will still be soft and chewy.
Why are my blondies dry? They were likely overbaked or overmixed. Pull them out as soon as the center is just set and still slightly soft.
Can I use whole eggs instead of egg yolks? You can, but the texture will be less rich and more cake-like. Egg yolks give that fudgy blondie bite.
Do I have to use butterscotch chips? No, chocolate chips, white chocolate, or caramel bits all work well. You can swap based on what you have.
How do I know when blondies are done? The edges should look golden and a toothpick should come out with a few moist crumbs. No wet batter should remain.
Can I double the recipe? Yes, but you may need to cook in batches depending on your air fryer size. Avoid overcrowding the pan.
Should I let them cool before cutting? Yes, cooling helps them set and makes cleaner slices. Cutting too early can make them fall apart.
Can I store them at room temperature? Yes, keep them in an airtight container for up to 3 days. For longer storage, refrigerate or freeze them.
