How To Make Air Fryer Cherry Pie Crescent Rolls

Step One: In a large bowl, combine the cream cheese, egg, and granulated sugar until smooth and well blended.

Step Two: Roll out each crescent dough triangle, spread a tablespoon of the cream cheese filling, then add a tablespoon of cherry pie filling on top. Roll the dough up tightly to enclose the fillings.

Step Three: Place the filled crescent rolls in the air fryer basket or tray and cook at 320°F for 5–8 minutes until golden and cooked through.

Air Fryer Cherry Pie Crescent Rolls Recipe Tips
- Use Room Temperature Cream Cheese: This makes it easier to mix and spread smoothly.
- Don’t Overfill: Stick to a tablespoon of each filling to prevent leaking during air frying.
- Space Rolls Properly: Leave a little room between each roll in the air fryer basket for even cooking.
- Check Early: Air fryer models vary, so start checking at 5 minutes to avoid over-browning.
- Optional Topping: Dust with powdered sugar once slightly cooled for a sweet, bakery-style finish.
- Make Ahead: Fill the crescents ahead of time and refrigerate until ready to air fry.
- Flavor Variations: Try using different pie fillings like blueberry, apple, or raspberry for variety.
Storing, Freezing and Reheating Instructions
- Storing: Let the crescent rolls cool completely, then store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days. Keep them covered to maintain their flaky texture and prevent drying out.
- Freezing: Wrap each crescent roll individually in plastic wrap or foil and place in a freezer-safe bag. Freeze for up to 1 month, then thaw at room temperature before reheating.
- Reheating: Warm the rolls in the air fryer at 300°F for 2–3 minutes until heated through and crisp. Alternatively, microwave for 20–30 seconds for a softer, gooey texture.
