Weight Watcher Bagel Recipe
This recipe was brought to you via some recipe that Weight Watcher published years ago; it has been adapted through the years to use the two-ingredient dough in almost anything you can think of.
This dough comprises two ingredients, which is why it’s so popular, and on the Weight Watcher Program Greek Yogurt has no points. (Freestyle Program) so you only need to count the self-rising flour. In this recipe, you need to add the raisins and ground cinnamon.

How To Make Air Fryer Weight Watcher Cinnamon Raisin Bagels
In a large mixing bowl, mix the self-rising flour and Greek yogurt. Once the dough is mixed, add the cinnamon and raisins.
Mix again so that the raisins and cinnamon are evenly distributed in the dough.
Separate your dough into four balls. Shape each ball into a circle and then put your finger into the middle and create a hole. Use your hands to shape the bagel into a circle. As you make the bagels place them into a greased air fryer basket or on a greased air fryer tray (both sprayed with cooking spray). In a small bowl, crack an egg, add 1 tablespoon of water, and beat the egg and water.
Use a pastry brush to brush on the egg wash. Then set the bagels into the air fryer for 350 degrees F, for 5 minutes (air fryer setting). Then flip and air fry for another 3 to 5 minutes.
SOME COMMON QUESTIONS ASKED ABOUT THIS RECIPE AND MAKING TWO-INGREDIENT BAGELS:
WHAT IS AIR FRYING?
If you have not heard of air frying, it’s one of the latest cooking appliances, a counter-sized appliance.
The air fryer works because hot air spins around the food, cooking it up perfectly. It crisps food without using much oil.
HOW IS AIR FRYING HEALTHIER?
Since you do not use a lot of oil, it’s healthier. Air Frying will save you a lot of calories and fat intake.
Air Fryers are a great option for people on a low-fat diet.
WHY DO YOU USE GREEK YOGURT?
Greek yogurt is used for this recipe because it is heavier than regular yogurt. It is thicker because it was strained. If your dough ends up sticky, you can use more self-rising flour or use less yogurt.
I personally like either Fage or Stonyfield. I feel that their yogurts do a better job of making air fryer bagels.
HOW DO YOU SHAPE BAGELS?
I like to roll them out, I think they end up looking better, but obviously, other ways work.
When I am making bagels with my family, we use our hands. We do not roll anything. My kid’s foolproof method is to create a dough ball and then stick their finger through it to make the hole. Easy and effective.
WHY DO YOU USE AN EGG WASH?
If you are allergic to eggs, you can skip this step because it only adds the shine of a traditional bagel on top. I like the egg wash, but if you are short on time or allergic, skip it.
MY BAGELS DO NOT AIR FRY (COOK) IN THE MIDDLE.
This is a common problem. My two thoughts are either the bagels are too thick, and the air fryer couldn’t cook in the middle. Or you did not flip them halfway.
HOW DO YOU STORE LEFTOVER AIR FRYER 2 INGREDIENT BAGELS?
Easy, if you do not finish them all in one sitting, place them into an airtight container and place them in the refrigerator. They should last about 2 to 3 days. You can toast them when you are ready to eat them or eat them cold. It is up to you. I reheat mine in the air fryer and then add butter or jam as a treat.
CAN YOU FREEZE AIR FRYER 2 INGREDIENT BAGELS?
Yes, let them cool to room temperature and then individually wrap them in saran wrap and place them in the freezer. To use from frozen, place in the refrigerator until the bagels thaw.
HOW TO MAKE SELF-RISING FLOUR
If you do not have self-rising flour, here is a simple recipe for it.
The most important thing to remember is that you need to really mix the self-rising flour before using it since there is baking powder distributed without the flour.
DO I TOAST THESE AIR FRYER BAGELS?
Yes, you can use your air fryer to toast them, no need for a toaster when you have your air fryer.
Cut the bagel in half, add your butter or jam, and place it into the air fryer basket. Set the temperature to 350 degrees F, air fryer setting for 2 to 5 minutes.
