Bananas With Brown Sugar and ground Cinnamon

With the peel still on, cut banana lengthways straight down the middle. In a small bowl, mix sugar with cinnamon. Sprinkle cinnamon sugar over banana halves.

Line air fryer basket with parchment paper and preheat to 400 degrees F, air fryer setting. Place banana halves into the basket and cook for about 6 minutes, until brown and bubbling on top.

You will need to use a firm banana, that has yellow in color. If you use too rip of a banana you will end up with a mushy banana.

So, for best results and taste, use a firm banana, which is yellow.

How long will caramelized bananas keep?

For best results you should eat these right away, as you store them, they will start to break down and become mushy.

I would eat them within an hour or prepare them.

Can you freeze caramelized bananas?

These will not freeze and thaw well, so when you want some, make a new batch. That’s what is so great with the air fryer, they are fast and delicious.
