Start by making a simple marinade: In a large mixing bowl or Ziploc bag, combine marinade ingredients (Lemon juice, honey, balsamic vinegar, oregano, garlic powder, kosher salt, and black pepper.

On a cutting board, cut the raw chicken breasts into 1-inch cubes. Transfer cuts of chicken to the large bowl and cover with plastic wrap in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. It can also marinate overnight.

Step Two: Assembling air fryer chicken skewers

Preheat the Air Fryer to 400 degrees after the chicken has marinated. While the Air Fryer is preheating, prepare the chicken skewers. Add approximately four chicken cubes to each skewer. How long to soak kabob skewers

What better way to spend a summer evening than cooking kabobs on the air fryer? But before you can start assembling your skewers, you need to know how long to soak them.

Soaking the skewers in water will help them stay lit and prevent them from burning in the air fryer. Depending on the wood of the skewers, they will need to soak for anywhere from 20 to 30 minutes.

The key to cooking chicken in the air fryer is to use a meat thermometer and check the internal temperature of the chicken pieces before removing them from your air fryer basket.

How to make kebabs ahead of time

I would recommend that you marinate the chicken overnight, and when you are ready to cook the chicken kebabs, you assemble them and then air fry them. This way, the meat stays moist and delicious.

The best way to keep them moist is to brush vegetable oil or olive oil over the chicken.

But you can also prepare them and cover them tightly with saran wrap. Then when you are ready to air fry them up, simply place them into the air fryer basket, and cook them!
