What Is An Instant Pot?
An Instant Pot is a brand of an electric pressure cooker. It cooks food by trapping steam inside a sealed pot, raising the pressure and temperature to high levels. This allows the food to cook faster than on a stovetop. An Instant Pot also doubles as a slow cooker, rice cooker, yogurt maker, and more. It has gained in popularity in recent years because it is safe, fast, and versatile. Many people use an Instant Pot to replace several appliances in their kitchen. What Is Ramen?
If you’re a cook, you’ve undoubtedly heard “ramen” before. But what, exactly, is ramen? Ramen is a Japanese noodle soup typically made from wheat flour, salt, and water. It can be served with or without broth and is often accompanied by vegetables or meat. While there are many different types of ramen, the most popular variety is shoyu ramen, which is made with soy sauce and chicken or pork broth. Ramen is a quick and easy meal to make, and it’s also quite affordable. So if you’re looking for something tasty and budget-friendly, give ramen a try!

How To Make Chicken Ramen In Instant Pot

Start by seasoning your chicken with salt and black pepper. Add the vegetable oil to the Instant Pot, and press the saute button. Wait about 30 seconds, and then add your seasoned chicken.

Saute your chicken until it’s fully browned.

Add the chicken broth, water, and the white part of the scallions, add your lid to the Instant Pot, and set the manual high pressure for 10 minutes. When the time is up, do a quick release.

Remove the lid, and add the ramen noodles, bok choy, scallion tops, soy sauce, and chili oil. Press the saute button, and cook for another 2 to 4 minutes, or until the noodles are softened.
Ladle the soup into bowls, and top with sliced hard-boiled or soft-boiled eggs.

Pro Tips
Toss The Seasoning Packets: Inside each package of ramen is a seasoning packet. You don’t need these, though! Just take out the dry blocks of the noodles, and dispose of the seasoning mix.
Fresh Noodles Are Best: Instant Pot ramen noodles are best enjoyed the same day they’re cooked. If you plan on having leftovers, be sure that your soup and noodles have been drained properly before storing them in an airtight container for later use–although we recommend finishing both foods as soon as possible!
Add More Vegetables: Use any vegetables that are in season. I love to add shredded carrots, zucchini, or even a healthy batch of green leafy vegetables.
What Type of Noodles to Use
Noodles are a versatile food that you can use in many different dishes. But what type of noodles should you use for which dish?
In this recipe, Top Ramen or Maruchan Ramen
noodles work just fine. Any type will do for our dish, and they’re a lot cheaper than buying organic ramen!

What Type of Chicken to Use
The perfect broth starts with the right ingredients. I like using boneless, skinless chicken breasts. But you can also use boneless, skinless chicken thighs because they’re loaded with so much flavor that is great for this recipe!
Remember to cut off as much fat as you can from the chicken to provide you with lean and rich chicken ramen.
How to Make it Spicy
I’m a big fan of spicy food, so I love to use this chili sauce or Sriracha sauce. IF you want to add even more spice, please add either red pepper chili flakes or some red cayenne for an extra kick!
How To Store
If you have any leftover ramen, let it cool to room temperature and then place it into an airtight container. It will last in the refrigerator for 2 to 3 days.
If you want to make this soup in advance, you can prepare it in advance and then make the ramen noodles and add them right before serving.
How To Freeze
I love doubling this recipe and then freezing one batch. I would recommend that you make the soup, but omit the noodles. As the ramen noodles freeze and then thaw, they will become rubbery. So, freeze the soup, but skip the noodles.
Let the soup cool to room temperature, and then ladle the soup into freezer-safe containers. Leaving about 1 inch of headspace on top since the soup will expand when it freezes.
Then when you’re ready to eat it, leave it in the refrigerator overnight until it’s thawed, and then reheat it in a small saucepan.

What To Serve With Instant Pot Ramen
The Instant Pot is an excellent tool for making one-pot meals, but what do you serve with it? Here are some suggestions for dishes that will pair well with your Instant Pot rame. Dumplings, stir-fry, and noodle bowls are practical options that you can cook in the same pot as your rame.
