Easy Air Fryer Skillet Apple Pie Biscuit Bites Recipe Tips
- Use pre-made biscuits: They save time and create a perfectly flaky base.
- Coat evenly: Make sure each biscuit is fully covered in the butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon mixture for maximum flavor.
- Check air fryer cooking time: Air fryer models vary; start checking at 12 minutes to avoid overcooking.
- Serve warm: These bites are best enjoyed immediately while soft and gooey.
- Optional toppings: Drizzle powdered sugar, caramel, or a simple glaze for extra sweetness.
Storing instructions
- Room Temperature: Best served immediately, can sit covered for up to 1 hour.
- Refrigerator: Store in an airtight container for up to 1 day; reheat gently in the air fryer for 1–2 minutes.
- Freezing: Not recommended; biscuit texture may become dense and less flaky after freezing.

Other Cooking Instructions
- Oven Option: If you don’t have an air fryer, bake the biscuit bites in a preheated oven at 350°F for 18–20 minutes until golden and cooked through.
- Extra Gooey: Add a little extra butter and brown sugar over the top before cooking for a stickier, caramelized finish.
- Flavor Variations: Mix in chopped nuts, raisins, or mini chocolate chips into the apple filling for a twist.
- Toppings: Sprinkle powdered sugar, drizzle caramel, or add a glaze for extra sweetness and presentation.
- Check Doneness: Make sure the biscuits are puffed and golden, and the apple filling is bubbly before removing.
Easy Air Fryer Skillet Apple Pie Biscuit Bites Recipe Faqs
Can I make more than one batch at a time? Yes, just use multiple air fryer-safe pans or cook in batches for evenly cooked bites.
Can I use canned biscuits or homemade dough? Both work! Pre-made biscuits save time, but homemade biscuit dough gives a slightly richer flavor.
How do I store leftovers? Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 day; reheat in the air fryer for 1–2 minutes.
Can I prep these ahead of time? Yes, assemble the biscuit bites in the pan and refrigerate for a few hours; cook in the air fryer just before serving.
Can I freeze the baked bites? Freezing is not recommended as the biscuit texture may become dense and lose flakiness.

Looks good! What skillet did you use? You said you would say which one it was, but you’ve got a muffin tin linked instead. Thanks.
