What Is A Frittata?

A frittata, not to be confused with an omelet, is an egg dish prepared with vegetables, cheese, meats, and other seasonings.

A frittata is meant to be baked, while an omelet is meant to be pan-fried. An omelet is also meant to be cooked for one, while a frittata is made to be shared.

Do You Have to Flip a Frittata?

No, A frittata does not need to be flipped. It will bake up perfectly in the pan. There is no reason to flip it.

Once the eggs are set, you can remove them from the air fryer. To check and see if it’s done, press the middle of the frittata; if it’s solid, remove it.

Is a Crustless Quiche a Frittata?

This would be a matter of opinion. Some people refer to this as a crustless quiche, while others refer to it as an egg bake.

I love to think of it as an egg casserole because it usually holds many other fillings. Whatever you call it, you will call it delicious after you make it!

Do You Add Milk to Frittata?

Today, I used heavy cream, but if you do not have any in your refrigtoet, you can use milk. The reason that I used heavy cream was that it added a creaminess to the dish.

But you can use the same amounts, and if you want to use Oak Milk, Almond Milk, or another non-dairy alternative, that would be fine.

What Other Vegetables Can I Add To My Frittata?

Today, I kept it really simple. I added many healthy, low-carb, and KETO-Friendly vegetables, but you can really any that you want to this recipe.

Some great options are:

  • Red Bell Peppers
  • Broccoli
  • Asparagus
  • Cauliflower
  • Carrots
  • Zucchini

What Kind of Pan Should I Use For a Frittata?

While you can use any pan that you have, I would HIGHLY recommend that you use a thin pan for the best frittata from your air fryer.

I have found over the years that thicker pans do not work. You will often find that the middle has not cooked through.

One of my recommendations, which I use a lot in my baking with my air fryer, is (affiliate link included)
