How To Make Air Fryer Lemon Pepper Shrimp

Ingredients Needed:
- Shrimp
- Olive Oil
- Lemon
- Ground Black Peppercorns
- Parsley
- Garlic Powder
- Optional: Butter for Dipping
How To Cook Air Fryer Lemon Pepper Shrimp
Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees and prepare the basket with a parchment paper liner. Juice and zest lemon (2 tablespoons juice, 1 teaspoon zest). Add olive oil and shrimp to a bowl and toss until well coated. Add the lemon zest, ground pepper, parsley, and garlic powder to shrimp and toss until well coated. Drizzle lemon juice over shrimp
Place shrimp in basket making sure shrimp do not overlap, then spray with olive oil.
Cook for 7-8 minutes or until pink. Remove from basket and serve with melted butter.

Prawn and shrimp are two items that are pretty similar. Prawn will have longer legs than a shrimp. Both are similar in flavor, but you will find offers a little bit of a different flavor.
What Kind Of Shrimp Should I Use In The Air Fryer?
You can use any shrimp that you have on hand. The size of the shrimp does not matter much, as the cooking time will only change by a minute or two.
If you want to use frozen shrimp, make sure it’s peeled and deveined. The shrimp can have the tail on or removed; it’s a personal preference.

How to Devein Shrimp
If you purchased shrimp that has not been deveined, it is easy to do. Grab a pairing knife and slice a slit on the backside of the shrimp where the vein is. Then use a toothpick or a piece of a wooden skewer. Use it to lift out the black or brown vein. Gently lift, and it will remove the vein. Then place the vein on a paper towel.
How to Know When Shrimp Is Done
Shrimp is done when it is opaque and white. You will find shrimp is white with a slightly pink or red accent. You want to make sure to get your shrimp fully cooked, or it can make you sick.
Also, you will find that shrimp curls up a bit as it is fully cooked.

CAN YOU STEAM SHRIMP IN AN AIR FRYER?
You will actually not steam the shrimp, but cook it. In the same, way because you are using a liquid, in the recipe, you will get the same flavor as if it was steamed.
HOW LONG DO YOU COOK BUTTERFLY SHRIMP IN AN AIR FRYER?
Preheat your air fryer to 380 degrees F, air fryer setting, and air fry for about 5 to 6 minutes. Depending on the size of the shrimp will vary in the cooking time. Just when the shrimp is done, remove and serve up warm and fresh.

Ingredients
- 12 ounces uncooked medium shrimp, thawed, peeled, and deveined
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 large lemon
