Latkes are one of our favorite things about Hanukkah because they’re delicious and easy to make! They’re just like pancakes, but we use mashed up potatoes instead of having flour in them.

- Shredded Hashbrowns
- Seasoned Salt
- Sweet Paprika
- Black Pepper
How To Make Potato Latkes In The Air Fryer
- Fully thaw the hashbrowns and remove any excess liquid.
- Combine the hashbrowns with the remaining ingredients and mix well.
3. Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F, air fryer setting.
4. Form the mixture into patties ¼ cup each. The mixture will be somewhat damp. Squeeze out any excess liquid.
5. Add parchment paper to the basket of the air fryer to prevent sticking. Add as many latkes as will fit and spray lightly with cooking oil—Cook for 8 minutes.
6. After 8 minutes, flip the latkes, spray again with cooking oil and cook for an additional 5 minutes. Remove to a plate and repeat with any remaining mixture.
7. Serve immediately with sour cream or apple sauce.

- Flipping: Depending on the air fryer you own, you may need to flip your Air Fryer Latkes halfway during the cooking process.
- Seasonings: You can add any seasoning tath you wish. Some great ones are fresh herbs, Cajun Seasoning, and even minced garlic or ginger.
- Using An Air Fryer Oven: Place the tray on the lowest slot so that the outside and outside cook simultaneously.
