Tips for Making Air Fryer Loaded Potato Chips:

  • If you do not have a baking pan to fit your air fryer basket, spread aluminum foil on the bottom and layer your chips.
  • Observe your air fryer, as the melted cheese will go from melted to burnt in seconds.
  • For best results, place your chips into a single layer. You can repeat this repeatedly, as it does not take that much time, plus everyone loves to have their plate of Air Fryer Loaded Potato Chips.
  • Make these fresh every time you want a new batch! They are so much better than stored Air Fryer Loaded Potato Chips.

More Topping Ideas:

Cheeses: While I used a simple crumbled blue cheese today, you can use a variety of cheeses. From shredded cheddar cheese, shredded Mexican Cheese, Feta Cheese, Monterrey Jack, and even Cotija!

Vegetables: Some great options are pinto beans, diced red bell peppers, diced radishes, and even sliced avocado.

Meats: Add some cooked ground beef (taco meat), shredded chicken, pulled pork, or crumbled Chorizo Sausage! Make sure that all of your meat is fully cooked before adding it to your Air Fryer Loaded Potato Chips.

Sauces: Add some great nacho cheese sauce, guacamole, sour cream, or even salsa!
