Air Fryer Jalapeno Popper Wonton Cups

Air Fryer Jalapeno Popper Wonton Cups — Looking for a fun and festive appetizer to serve at your next party? These air fryer jalapeno popper wonton cups are perfect! They’re easy to make and packed with flavor. Plus, they’re sure to be a hit with your guests. So give them a try today!

Air Fryer Jalapeno Popper Wonton Cups make for the perfect appetizer. They are amazingly light, crispy, and delicious.

Today, I filled them with cream cheese, diced jalapenos, shredded cheese, and minced green onions, and on top, I put a sliced jalapeno pepper for some extra kick.

They are unique and provide a great appetizer or snack. My kids loved them as an afternoon snack as they came home from school. The cheese was perfectly melted, and the wonton wrapper was perfectly crisped up.

Next time I will add some bacon for a bit of crunchy on the inside for a better bite.

So, if you have been making Air Fryer Jalapeno Poppers, here is your chance to elevate it even further.

How To Make Air Fryer Jalapeno Popper Wonton Cups

Air Fryer Jalapeno Popper Wonton Cups

Add the diced jalapenos, sliced scallions, Mexican cheese, and room temperature cream cheese in a large bowl. Mix well.

Spray your muffin tin, and then place the wonton wrappers into the cavities. Set the pan into the air fryer for 3-5 minutes at 300 degrees F, air fryer setting.

You want the wonton to cook so that the bottom browns up slightly.

Spoon the filling into the wonton wrapper, which should be golden brown. Then set back into the air fryer for 5-6 minutes at 330 degrees F, air fryer setting, remove when the cheese is melted.

How To Make These Ahead Of Time

This is a great recipe to make ahead since you can crisp up the wontons ahead of time. I would wait to fill them since you want them oozing with the cheese.

The cream cheese needs to be at room temperature to easily mix with the rest of the ingredients.

So, if you want to make these ahead of time, prebake the wonton shells, and then fill when right before you want to serve them. Then air fry them up, hot and oozing with cheese.
