Ingredients needed for Air Fryer Pecan Rolls on kitchen table.
  • Butter: Rich, creamy butter contributes tender texture and taste.

  • Crescent Dough Sheet: Flaky crescent dough sheet softens into golden rolls.

How To Make Air Fryer Pecan Rolls

Mix the brown sugar and butter together in a large mixing bowl.

Step One: Start by mixing the brown sugar and butter together. Mix in the pecans.

Add the mixture to the bottom of the muffin tin.

Step Two: Spray your muffin tin with non-stick cooking spray or olive oil spray. Place a tablespoon of the butter, pecan, and brown sugar mixture into the tin. If you have any extra distribute it among the muffin tins until you use it all up.

Add the dough on top of the topping.

Step Three: Cut the dough into 8 equal pieces, and place one per muffin cavity on top of the mixture. Air Fryer for 5 minutes at 330 degrees F, air fryer setting.

Air Fryer Pecan Rolls Recipe Tips

  • The most important part of this recipe is to flip the dough halfway during the cooking process so both sides get cooked.
  • If you have any leftover pecan, butter, brown sugar mixture, you can pour it on after you flip the pastry.
  • Metal muffin tins will work better than silicone tins since you will need to flip them.
  • Let the pecan rolls cool slightly before serving; they are hot.
  • For a great topping, you can drizzle some caramel on top. Although they certainly do not need any more sweetness.

Storing, Freezing & Reheating Instructions

  • Storage: Store leftover pecan rolls in a room temperature airtight container for 2 days. Refrigerate for up to 5 days for longer shelf life.
  • Freezing: Wrap cooled rolls in tight plastic wrap and store in a freezer bag. Freeze for up to 2 months for optimal flavor and texture.
  • Reheating: Reheat the pecan rolls in the air fryer at 300°F for 3–4 minutes. Alternatively, microwave 20–30 seconds until soft and gooey.

Air Fryer Pecan Rolls Recipe Faqs

Can I use canned crescent dough for this recipe? Yes! Canned crescent dough or a sheet of crescent dough is great to use for quick and simple pecan rolls.

Can I prepare the pecan rolls in advance? Yes, you can prep ahead, refrigerate, and air fry just before serving.

How do I prevent the caramel sauce from setting? Serve the rolls warm and warm up any leftovers carefully in the microwave or air fryer so the topping still remains gooey
